George arrived from South Africa in June
1995 to have a pleasant working holiday with friends. He ended
up liking it so much that he decided to not to go back.
He worked for BVCD for the last six years prior to his employment
here at Astratis. During that time George worked in various
departments within BVCD until he settled in the IT department
and became IT Director in 1997.
He was exposed to Pick® in early 1996 when the company
purchased a retail managing system implemented on the Pick®
platform.
George was also involved in developing various modules for
the retail management system from simple CRM add-ons to a
more complex real time stock management system for the warehouse.
He started here at Astratis in June 2002 to head the Development
department.
